As others have noted, the kids go off to college in a couple of months and will be on their own.  Have we evolved to so much of a helicopter lifestyle that we cannot trust our kids, even for a week?

At what point do you let go and trust them to live their lives and live with any consequences of their actions?

My kids are too young for beach week right now, but if it is an activity that is still taking place when they are ready, and if they are interested in going, I will encourage them to go and have fun, but to be sure, they will be responsible for their housing, responsible to leave it better than they found it, and responsible for their actions.
