About how hard it is to be in a different culture and struggling to fit in. Ask him how he would feel in that situation (or if he's ever felt that way). Explain he doesn't have to be friends with him, but you do expect him to be kind. Maybe brainstorm ways he can be kind to this kid. [/quote]
