You’re welcome to look at the data McPS publishes-Somerset is more diverse than Woodacres and BCC is more diverse than Whitman.  I’m a person of color and chose Somerset over a Whitman feeder because it’s more diverse and closer to metro and our DC jobs and we wanted to minimize our commutes.  Somerset is a lovely school. It’s so well resourced in so many ways.  [/quote]

Diversity is subjective, it is true, but Woodacres is far less diverse than Somerset, which has a lot of international students from embassies, the World Bank etc.  Some people diversity will choose Somerset for that reason.  But both are rated Great Schools 9, and are fine schools from what I hear.
