I had heard about these sorts of dramas. But, I guess I always partly chalked it up to myth. Who has the time, desire, etc. to deal with this stuff? I guess I was wrong. I cannot relate to these people at all.
I live in NYC, have had kids in private preschools, and I know of these dramas though I've always just been on the periphery. It's crazy how worked up people get about PRESCHOOL. I mean in this story people are getting worked up about the library shelving and potluck dinners. There was similar drama at mine, and I was always like "what? who cares? it's preschool. I don't GAF what snacks they eat or what kind of singalongs they do in wintertime." People with kids leaving the school (and no younger siblings coming in) would still be locked in a deathmatch over the most trivial issues. I always thought they had too much time on their hands.
