You’re kidding, right? The posters that astutely surmised that the player wont get any meaningful minutes, at least at first, are correct. So no harm to the coach’s winning record. Plus a sale of the club is worth it, especially for the former TD/owner that worked the deal with the parent. That is “a lot.”  Meanwhile, the parent has made their kid and spouse happy for the moment and can go back to their busy day job. The kid might suffer, or may end up thriving. That is now up to the kid. Their parent provided them the opportunity. Unfairly perhaps, but nevertheless provided it. [/quote]
