In an area where pool membership waitlists are years long she could be SOL if she waited. That’s not overthinking or crazy, it’s smart.[/quote] And not for nothing, while my oldest joined the swim team 6, and did not do summer minis, my middle guy did minis at 4. My youngest is 4 now and she’s going to try minis - not sure whether she’ll want to do it or not this summer though - if not, next summer - I won’t force it this year.
