My DC that is in Geometry had to pass a test to get into algebra I the beginning of 7th grade. [/quote] When Deal had a lot of kids in Algebra 1 in 7th grade the PARCC scores were mediocre. So they changed their policies. It's actually a great example of a school using data to make changes that are better for student learning. [/quote]
