For some people it's career, and for others it's fitness and maintaining one's shape. [/quote] Because the best version of oneself doesn't get frozen at age 20. Your body changes as you get older. You can strive to be the best version of the person you are at age 37. And you need to examine the idea that having a little pooch somehow means you aren't the "best" version of yourself. I've known some really skinny/fit people who are horrible versions of themselves because they are so hellbent on the scale and low body fat determining their self worth. [/quote]
