If you wanted the most convenient option, you'd be going to your neighborhood public school. Once you are choosing private school, you are accepting a certain amount of logistical inconvenience. So, echoing the pp's point, you need to make peace with the fact that you are unlikely to get in off the waiting list and find the good in the school that is an actual option -- whether that's a private school that is more difficult to get to (but possible, clearly, or you wouldn't have applied) or your neighborhood public school.[/quote]
