Timberlane is a different pyramid from Shrevewood (split feed to McLean and Falls Church HS) so I don't see that as an option for this upcoming rezoning. That's more likely to occur in a county-wide rezoning effort.

I expect some of Shrevewood will be moved to Stenwood (I'm looking specifically at the condos/apartments/THs near Dunn Loring/Merrifield that are now zoned to Stenwood). And then some of Stenwood would likely need to shift to Freedom Hill to keep Stenwood from becoming overcrowded. [/quote]

They could make Timber Lane a split feeder to Marshall and Falls Church (it's closer to Marshall than to McLean) and move part of Shrevewood there, and then move more of Westgate or Lemon Road from Marshall to McLean.  But the more likely and easier scenario is moving part of Shrevewood to Stenwood and, if needed, part of Stenwood to Freedom Hill.

I wonder if there's a Stenwood poster who keeps raising the Timber Lane option because she doesn't want Shrevewood kids moved to Stenwood.  [/quote]
