Ha! I live in a community full of wealthy people with nannies, and not one is paying their nanny over 22$/hr.  Look at care.com and other online forum with real data on market pricing, because this forum is full of aspirational nannies.[/quote]

No, you clearly do not live in a community full of wealthy people.[b]  Wealthy people use agencies[/b] and no nanny from an agency - even without college - is less than $25 an hour.

That's not the case in this DMV area. The only people I've known who have used agencies were in a tough spot because a caregiver quit at the last minute and needed someone right away who was vetted.  Otherwise for planned hiring, people tend to do word of mouth.[/quote]
