In California now an individual cannot run a full background check so for security reasons, we had to go through an agency. [/quote] That's not the case in this DMV area. The only people I've known who have used agencies were in a tough spot because a caregiver quit at the last minute and needed someone right away who was vetted. Otherwise for planned hiring, people tend to do word of mouth.[/quote]
