The distinction between online degrees and traditional ones are eroding fast. As soon as Boomers and Gen X are no longer the majority of hiring managers it won’t matter. Look down your nose at an online degree from ASU if you must, but more and more of your kids classes will be taught that way, and it doesn’t make much sense to pay a premium for living in crowded dorms and partying with your friends.
I took an online class in the 90's and then one recently. The videos that explained Economic concepts far exceeded any teacher I have ever had. Plus, I could rewind and listen again when a concept was especially complex. I think online is much better than a bitter professor who is pissed his research is interrupted to lecture.
