Their phones are accessible to them.  They are right between the front door and the kitchen. The phones go there so kids don't come over and sit down on the couch for two hours staring into them.  Yes, kids come over all the time. I have a slew of them here now. [/quote]

You must either have a 12 year old or a private school kid.  No typical 15-18 year old is going to put their phone in your basket, and they’d hang out elsewhere. I have a 15 year old and a 17 year old, and the kids who would play on their phones the whole time aren’t the same kind of kids who go to parties, so your fears are silly. [/quote]
