What do you think?
I think you need to ask yourself why you’re so worried about this.
I don’t have an applicant this year but I did want to know the GBRS to see if that made me more likely to know what the result would be instead being in limbo. In the end the GBRS still made it 50/50 (and kid was admitted).
And so what? Seriously what difference would it make to have a “more likely” indication in February versus a solid answer in May. Even if your kid might go to a different school, what difference does a couple of months make? Did you need to put in a down payment on aftercare in case your kid got in? Were you planning to sell your house? Or was it that you just needed to know to be in control? Why can’t you be in limbo?
Idk I work and have 3 kids. The more time I had to prepare the better - lots of logistics to consider. And honestly I was confused about the process. I wasn’t going to parent refer and I loosely thought if he tested in that was be it and I would know. I didn’t realize that you tested in to a pool and then were in limbo for 3 months. I get that some ppl are not planners but I am a planner.
