In general, keto works better for weight loss for men than for women. Still, most men and women gain it all back when they go off of it.
...just like on any other diet :) OP, usually when people don't feel well or don't lose weight on keto, it turns out they were doing something wrong. I copied this from my favorite IG account low.carb.love - you may want to follow her.
I know I know... you don’t want to hear this but the truth is that if you’re not losing weight or possibly even gaining weight, there is a good chance you’re eating too much food or the wrong foods?. I also don’t believe all calories are created equal. The closer you stick to meats, veggies and healthy fats... the better results you will have ? . A calorie deficit will lead to weight loss, but cutting out starchy carbs and adding healthy fats and proteins will help eliminate cravings and help keep you satisfied throughout the day. Leading to an effortless calorie deficit. You don’t have to focus so much on calories while doing keto because your appetite is naturally suppressed once you’re in ketosis. So just aim to get there ASAP ? . A few reasons why you might not be losing weight or stalling . •Adding too much fat to your food or consuming to much fat throughout the day. Calories add up, especially if your going way overboard •Too many nuts, cheese or heavy cream •Too many keto/low carb baked goods, treats or even fat bombs •Processed foods or hidden unhealthy ingredients (maltodextrin, dextrose, fructose, etc) •Eating a trigger food and end up binging on the whole batch, bag or box (cookies, chips, etc) •Stress is a huge contributor to weight loss stalls •Eating the wrong types of fats/oils (canola, vegetable oil, etc ) dressings, mayo, dips...read your labels. Unhealthy fats cause inflammation and bloat. •Not enough fiber (fiber helps you ?) •Not enough protein. Protein keeps you satiated just as much as fat does if not more (IMO). •Not getting enough exercise. Home workouts count ?. Building muscle and staying active is important, even if it means going for a power walk while listening to an informative podcast ? . There are some other factors like insulin resistance, thyroid, hormones, etc. (Fasting can help... look on YouTube)

I don't understand how to increase my fat without eating cheese. I'm eating mostly veggies, a little meat, and some fat. I don't understand and I'm so sad and annoyed and fat and frustrated.
