Fitness Together in Georgetown: 1. Accountability, if I don’t show for an appointment, they’ll call me. If I don’t do cardio on my time, they’ll ask why not. 2. Prepaid: If I don’t do it, I’m wasting my money. 3. Personalized nutrition, exercises based on my posture and lifestyle 4. Multiple trainers: It doesn’t matter when one goes on vacation for a week, because I’ve worked with everyone. They can all pull the file, see what my workout is supposed to be for that day, and I get the benefit of different people encouraging/demanding more effort. 5. Stretching! You can’t stretch yourself as well as someone else can stretch you, and for me, it’s the absolute best thing about it! 6. Distraction: For me, talking while I’m working out is the best way for me to get through some of the harder exercises, even if it comes out as gasping pants. For others, there’s very little talking. They’ll turn the music up or down, whatever works best for you. 7. More equipment/creativity: There are three areas, and tons of equipment that can be used in a ton of different ways. Add in that they collaborate on making ingenious programs that last 6 weeks, targeting the areas you want combined with their assessments of your strengths/weaknesses. 8. Experience with different circumstances: athletes, desk jobs, injury recovery, weight loss, etc. They work with people through all of it. It’s expensive as all get out if you do the smaller packages. I do 4 days per week, and it works out to a price I’m willing to pay. There is a year contract, which makes it a no-go for many people, but I really can’t recommend it enough.
