My XW and I were married 18 years with three kids and both were professionals.  There was fault on both sides and the inability to communicate with life got strenuous.  She wanted the divorce because there was no time for us and she felt she was not "in love" with me.  Fast forward 3 years later, we both had time to reflect and understand that our marriage should of been the priority, not the kids.  We both have dated but realizing other individuals do not like having 3 kids in the picture and the is unacceptable.  I am at a happy place in my life but unsure what the future holds between my XW and I.  We do not have the pain and angry of the kids that brought real stress to our lives.  I guess at the time divorce is happening you do not get clarity until it is to late.  [/quote]
