We used to do this  when he was little, but for several months  now he has done fine being occasionnally crated without  a pee. Understand that this is a large breed dog, not a small dog.

But I realize some of you are too busy trying to accuse me of animal cruelty that you are beyond rational discussion. Reminds me of the political forum :-)

I have large breed dogs and I always let them outside before I head out, even if I think I won't be gone long.  Things come up and you can get delayed.

Imagine trying to hold it for an hour or more...poor pup.  Now you know, Op. I'm glad that he sounds like he's going to be o.k.[/quote]
