My teen didn’t want to do it either, but we made her and she drove to school her senior year, went to the grocery store numerous times and then drive to her full time job over the summer (on the beltway even). And no - the insurance rates weren’t bad because she didn’t have an accident. Adulthood beckons! Soon your kid could be paying for his own gas and insurance too .[/quote]
