How about...they were safety schools where the kid probably will not attend.[/quote] The medical program explanation makes a lot of sense for why *these* particular schools (as opposed to similarly ranked schools in the midwest with similar profiles) have high number of applicants from TJ. It has nothing to do with insecurity. [/quote]
