I’ve seen it happen many times- someone offers to be the shoulder to cry on in hopes the other person will recognize what a great partner they are. Instead, what usually happens is the person grieving happily uses the support (and sex) provided, then move on once they are done grieving. She doesn’t need to be heartless about it, but going to the funeral is too much effort for what’s invested. [/quote]
