You just might have to up the ante on what you are doing. Our metabolisms change as we get older, like it or not. You have to create a caloric deficit. It is easier to do that when you eat on a plan like Keto because your insulin levels stay level (out of prediabetic range). When I get my BMI below a certain level I absolutely do see a difference in my carb sensitivity. No question. That metabolic mechanism in my body that gives me a tendency to gain weight - I have to acknowledge it and be aware of it.[/quote]
