I have the same question re: our angel tree recipient. He is- 15 month old wearing 4 T clothes and bigshoe size. I got whatever was listed on the the card.
my huge 14 month old wears 2T and size 6 shoe. If I wanted room to grow I would do 3T and 7 shoe. This kid must be enormous!!
Wow, my 22 month old is tiny. He is in 18 month clothes and just sized up to size 5 shoes!
That is small for 22 months, but not outlandish. And a lot depends on clothing brands and cuts. My 19 month old wears 3T shirts and 2T or 3T leggings from Carters, Target, or Old Navy. But she wears 24 month shirts from the Macys brand, and in non-legging pants she is down to 18 month size because they are cut more broadly. She is also in a 6 shoe, but shoe size really varies. She is about 70% for height, 45% for weight, but has small (but fat) feet. Also, people have different definitions for when clothes fit. The other girls in her class wear t-shirts that barely touch the waistband of their pants, and ride up to expose their bellies. I don't like that look, so I buy tunic-style shirts or, if a regular shirt, I go up a size. So she may be wearing a larger size than other kids in her class who are bigger.
