Oh stop it already. Bruce Arena failed, and his assistant is still running the team over a year after the debacle. And for what? So we can appoint the coach of the Columbus Crew? More mediocrity. That’s got nothing to do with culture.

Even dating back to the hexagonal you can see how the USSF has repeatedly botched things. We might as well have kept Klinnsmann. We brought in the “sure thing” who’s gotten us there before, and the only games we could win were Honduras, Trinidad, and Panama at home. We won 1 out of our last 5 games.
