We currently have 3, and all use the litter box perfectly. I wouldn't let one bad experience throw you off. It is not typical behavior. With a rescued cat that's been fostered, you'll get detailed info about its temperament and habits. You can be clear you're concerned about having the same problem again.[/quote]
