Why would kids bring backpacks when they were told not to bring anything? I think if you can’t follow simple directions, they should take a lot of points off the top right there.

I don’t know. The email was clear about what to bring, and said not to bring watches or electronics. I guess people thought they could throw it all in a backpack. There were probably 15 or so backpacks stored near the door. Some kids gave it to their parents if they were standing near the door. Getting in the door was a major headache for us- kids were crowded on a stairway and they only let in a few kids at a time. The rest were out in the cold waiting. It could have run more smoothly. The test went about 30 minutes past 12 so maybe it was due to some of these issues.
