This. My husband and I moved to the burbs pre-kids and were involved in lots of activities (mainly around social dancing, which was our "thing"). We found new places to go and new people to hang out with through meetup.com--not for the sake of meeting people but for the sake of activities that interested us. The people were a side effect.[/quote]
