We can't afford to send my kids to a W school but I have nothing against them. If I could afford to send my kids there I would do it in a heartbeat. I commend the parents who live in places like the townhouses & condos around Montgomery Mall, who will sacrifice living in a much larger home in a not-so-great school system, just to be able to send their kids to a better school. While I can't send my kids to a W, I happen to agree with the poster who said that the majority of the "we hate W schools" comments come from parents who can't afford to send their children there & are envious/jealous.
I live in dss and never even think about w kids. Have no opinion either way.
Yes, there are a lot of presumptions with the W schools. We can afford those areas, but chose the DCC for a number of reasons. Very happy. OP, don’t let DCUM get you second guessing. Kids seem very happy at Einstein, and I know several who are not so happy at Ws (although of course many are).
What an odd statement... what does that even mean? There are miserable kids in every single high school, in every single state in America (including DCC (gasp!). Being an unhappy, awkward or hormone raging teenager has absolutely nothing to do with race, religion, socioeconomic background or the high school that they attend.
