Diana has been dead for 20 years now.  By the time that kid is in adulthood, few people will have a strong memory of Diana.  Especially given that this child will be a "minor royal" just like Beatrice and Eugenie, the Diana name will give the kid more star quality, which Meghan will surely understand.[/quote]
