And I think you need to let the uneaten sandwich thing go.  I know it's frustrating.  See if there's something else he'd rather eat, or see if he'll eat it as an after-school snack if he's not hungry at lunch time.  But you can't really micromanage a teen's eating.  He'll be more likely to eat the lunch if he understands he doesn't have unlimited funds for pizza and burgers after school. [/quote]
