[/quote] We are going to try our luck with the lottery/auditions and then if that doesn't work we will homeschool for middle. Our ES goes to 6th so it would be for 2 years. Our child will apply to TAG MS for 6th and Hyattsville's Arts program for 7th if the TAG program doesn't work out. College Park Academy is also an option but I have heard mixed reviews. You could also apply for an administrative transfer to a "better" middle school. I think that last year Tasker and MLK middle were on the list of available schools. You would be responsible for transportation in that case. [/quote]
