No snark, but I actually think this poster has it somewhat correct: We expect big rich stars to be sorta nuts, and we now also expect Republicans to be sorta nuts. And so when someone combines the two it's a mix of spectacle, confirming expectations, and the also concern about the person's wellbeing.

I think part of what's going on here is that some of us - like ME - worry that despite KW clearly being in the midst of a mental breakdown, and needing help, that he will still have some political influence. So there's a concern for him - and a concern for all of us - all mixed up together.[/quote]
