Except your next-door neighbor is documenting their birth like its the coming of the next saint. No less than 3 sonograms, 2 shots of the nursery preparation, a recorded gender reveal, a crying post about how 'omg I can't believe its been 20 weeks!', and a half dozen photos of a belly the size of a basketball but no photos after we hit watermelon stage!

I don't know how so many of you know people like this. When I was pregnant with my first I posted one picture of a sono to announce at like 4 months and a post announcing the baby after birth. For my first pregnancy there were photos of the baby shower. I did continue to appear in photos myself while pregnant so there were a bunch of pictures of me but no like, weekly shots tracking belly growth.

I have yet to meet anyone in real life that has done all that stuff you just posted. I mean I know they exist because their stupid videos go viral or they accidentally start a forest fire but I don't think its some type of plague upon society, the small number of people doing it are just getting an outsized amount of attention.
