My school admin is absolutely terrified of losing accreditation next year because we are "red" in one category--sped math. Everything else was green. If we don't get sped scores up from 40%ish to 70%ish this year, we will lose accreditation. We have already had 3 school wide meetings about it.
So not a good use of time. Leading from a place of fear is never good, inspiring or productive. I'm at a Title 1 school in a similar situation. I appreciate how my principal stays positive and filters all this testing/accreditation nonsense for us. Keeps us focused on doing right by kids and giving us the professional learning and respect we need.
