Oh I agree, her best bet is to continue to use her current vehicle until it has a major mechanical failure then get a new car.  I was just saying if she insists on buying new now then a plug in would be a good choice.  Alternatively, a used Prius would be a good option for someone worried about environmental impact.[/quote]
