[/quote] Another attorney...I think the partnership thing is the real reason you shouldn’t stay home. The vast majority of associates don’t and have to take a pay cut in the next gig. If you stay home you will likely do at least some short term damage to your career trajectory and if he gets the talk it will becoming even more important that you could potentially bring in some money (even though you guys can’t really afford to live on your salary only).
