For those who search the forum for KitchenAid appliances in the future: I bought a house with brand new KitchenAid appliances a year ago. They are awful. The screen on the oven died within 6 months, the dishwasher does a woefully bad job cleaning and has rubber bits that break off, and the refrigerator can’t even manage to alert us when the door is ajar.[/quote]
