Thank you for your great advice . We will figure out the early release days. He will probably ride the bus to friends houses and I will pick him up after work from Potomac or Rockville or wherever!  It is a hassle but that’s ok.  We will probably just make our Spring break plans and deal with it if Wednesday and Thursday get canceled. I have to find out whether two unexcused absences could affect his grades though. I seem to remember that kids who walked out to protest gun violence were warned that after a certain number of unexcused absences (4?) you fail the class. Thanks.  Appreciate the sensible advice [/quote]
