DC has plenty of resources. It is literally the political epicenter of the country with all the high paying jobs that come with it. They have mismanaged the resources that are all around them. FFS people couldn't drink the water just a few weeks ago. DC water employees literally have their own brand water bottles that they keep for drinking because they won't drink the water. The crime rate is awful. Everyday there is a news story about who got shot and killed. [/quote]

I've lived in DC. It is a poorly run dump. Have you ever visited a grocery store in NE that isn't on H street ?  The city council is a joke. Those best places articles must be written by people who are looking at the city on paper only and don't live there or only people living in NW are answering the polls.
