Thank you for a reasonable post. I got a light colored gel once and it looked fine. I don't keep it up because I want to keep my natural nails strong and they look nice with a coat of clear. But I get people who want to.

Maybe. Or really poorly done gel/powder with too many coats. I do powder and love the place I go to. It's indistinguishable from regular polish. [/quote]
