You are not going to make it easier for diverse income ranges to live in MoCo by fighting development.   The only way to make it easier to live in a place, is to make it easier to build housing.   Holding back supply will tighten the market for new multifamily housing - that does not only raise prices/rents on new housing - it means the people who would have lived in that new housing will compete for slightly older housing - and so on down.

Is there any impact fee proposed when a large new house replaces a small older house?  Even though the former almost certainly means more school children, and likely puts more burden on schools then a new 1 BR  condo does?

And the way to deal with traffic and congestion is not limiting development, but providing more transportation alternatives, especially transit.  Transit is easier to justify with greater density, and its easier to walk to with more walkable development replacing old shopping centers and parking lots.  [/quote]
