I think people are frustrated because they assume these offers will still be coming. Unless this year is some kind of weird anomaly. But I know families who have in the past got off the waitlist at IT in July and then got off the waitlist at stokes or YY in early august and left, so maybe they are trying to avoid the time waste of orientating families who will leave when other schools' list move.
