Those soccer rankings don’t mean a things. Leagues that use got soccer to track schedules and results inflate the numbers vs teams that only get points from tournaments because leagues like ccl don’t track in got soccer.
Maybe gotsoccer does that (not sure), but the site I referenced doesn’t. Nice try.
The Youth Soccer Rankings certainly does use GotSoccer to collect data. So if a league is using GotSoccer then so is Youthsoccerrankings.com. The difference is how the information is used but NPL using GotSoccer points provides more data to draw from than a CCL club. Also of note, Loudoun and Arlington both play in CCL and the lack of CCL reported scores hasn’t artificially dropped their rankings into the 30s.
Not saying Youthsoccerrankings.us doesn't use gotsoccer's tournament scores. What I'm saying is it's rankings don't punish CCL teams for having less games in their database. Youthsoccerrankings.us bases its score on how well you do against an opponent. The number of games/wins has nothing to do with it. You don't get extra points for more wins. You get points by beating your opponent by more than expected or losing by less than expected. You lose points by winning by less than expected or losing by more than expected.
