How is begrudgingly voting for someone dignified? And not knowing Mr. Jealous personally, I don't feel I owe him any sort of loyalty. I haven't decided yet who to vote for, but this kind of nonsense is how Roy Moore almost got elected in Alabama. People there were so loyal to the damn (R) they were willing to vote in a pedophile over a Democrat. I'll make an informed choice based on the issues, thank you, and I will not blindly vote for anyone based on a letter appearing after their name. If more people bothered to do their homework and think for themselves, we might not be in the mess we're currently in.[/quote]

People like you are why the party is in trouble. Because you have no loyalty. You have no honor. All you think of is your own selfish interests - probably taxes, right? You're afraid you're taxes might go up one scintilla, so you abandon the candidate that's got the integrity to tell you the truth. It's either that, or you have a problem voting for a AA for governor. Both are shameful. Greedy, or racist? Pick one. [/quote]

Do you feel that way regarding loyalty to party for Republicans?  Would you say a moderate Republican disgusted by Trump (or some other Republicans who have moved far right) should nonetheless support him/them out of loyalty to the party?  If not, why is it different than a moderate Democrat uncomfortable with someone who is so far left?[/quote]
