There is a simple solution. I started lifting weights about 6 years ago. The spike in testosterone has been incredible. I’m ready for sex 24/7. I don’t use steroids or any type of enhancement products. Ladies get your men in the gym.
What was your motivation? Did your DW ask you to? Did you have low drive? I dont think my DH even realizes it's a problem.
I had a few things motivating me. One of the key things was hating the feeling of always being tired. I didn’t want to be one of these guys that grows old, fat, and grumpy. I want to stay “young” and fit for as long as I can. I used to get home from work and sleep for 2 hours. Wake up, have dinner with my family, get stuff ready for work, and go to sleep. Now I have energy to play basketball with my kids, cut the grass, chop wood, and anything else. But I’ll be honest. The best part about it all is how much I want to have sex. I want it all the time. Gotta keep my Sugar happy!! Lol
Another DH here, and this is 100% true. As far as how to motivate your DH, you really can't, unless you start hitting the gym yourself and invite him along or something, or buy a weight set for "you," and then encourage him to give it a shot. It really has to come from within. For me, I was like the PP, just wanted to pull myself out of a downward spiral.
Yet another DH here. To be clear, the important point is to build muscle. Too much long distance running or other endurance stuff can have a negative impact on testosterone in men, especially if you're 50+. Cardio is still important but for older men, your focus should be on building muscle if you're hoping for a testosterone boost.
