When I said first beta, I mean the first blood test after the two week wait. The range of normal is so big and having a high beta does not means strong embryo. I’m not even sure what it means anyway.

I'm the PP that mentioned "strong" embryo.  It was the phrasing my RE used at the time when I questioned whether or not such a high beta at that point was a concern, as most people I knew had betas in the hundreds in that timeframe.
