I agree that there is much to be proud of if your child is a high achieving black student in a PG school, but your idea that the nW privates are all white is not true. In fact the reason we choose our DC private is so my son could have a community of black achievers. We are in MCPs and there are very few black males on their gifted/magnet programs   I imagine this might not be true in PG.   we are happy with our choice [/quote]
