OP here.  I swear I'm not trolling.  [b]I didn't know anything about Valerie Jarrett before[/b] this scandal and hearing her described as an African American woman just made me assume that the planet of the apes comment was made from the same ugly comparison that racists have made for centuries, but when I actually saw her picture it made me think that what inspired Roseanne to make that horrible comparison was her appearance and not her race.  Here is a picture of her.

DP. I am a political junky and I didn't know VJ is African American until this week. (I had thought VJ and Huma have middle eastern background.) VJ is a behind the scene type of aid. Being African American is not the first or second thing when you talk about VJ.
