Maybe she's just lonely since her divorce and looking to make friends? And because she wanted another baby and you just had one she can get her "fix"? I don't know, I'm not there. But you sound like you're overreacting. If she hit on your husband, ok, but by your own admission she just makes small talk and once offered him a ride to work (was it in the opposite direction she was going or something else weird?). I just don't get women who don't like any other women talking to their husbands.
I’m her friend though, not my husband. Why does she need to drive him anywhere? I could see if she knew our car was in the shop or something but to just randomly ask is fishy, IMO. Also, yes it is out of her way but she doesn’t even know where he works.
Ummm... you guys are neighbors, sounds like she may just see you guys collectively as "the neighbors" and is trying to be friendly to the family and not just to you. I try to be friendly with my neighbors - husbands, wives, kids, pets - just because I like the idea and feel of community, and I would be there to help either if I sensed anyone needed a hand, i.e a lift to work, etc. Sounds like she may be just trying to bond with her "neighbors" and not just you, per se. You have not been clear as to what constitutes flirting. Are her boobs "accidentally" falling out whenever hubby is near? Is she watering the lawn in tight clingy outfit? Is she a looker? Maybe she just needs emotional support - going through a divorce can be tough.
+1
