I guess McCain thinks this is worth his time, his political statements and involvement. Is it? To me it would not be. 
I think he thinks his political legacy is a duty to never quit, no matter how sick he gets.

I truly think it’s sad. He has to be extremely ill, extremely medicated, and probably closer to death every day. Does he feel desperate to keep doing the things he’s always done to keep a sense of normalcy and purpose? I’d think so.

But that will fall away. It just seems like you’d really want to be with your family. Whatever time you have pain free, or close to pain free.

Honestly I think that he’s just too sick to really make these statements and participate, and it’s his long time staff running the show. Medically speaking, he’s in a bad way. I really don’t think with the medication he’s got to be on, he really can think and process normally. It’s not criticism or attacking him, it’s just the horrible, horrific, dehumanizing process of his disease. He doesn’t deserve this kind of death, nobody does. I can’t imagine the pain his family is facing. Well, I sort of can...but dang.
